Winter. January 16.

From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens when the waters become hard as stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen? Job 38:29-30 NIV

Probably one of the most misquoted words of God is, “ the weather is all messed up, it’s a sign of the times” we’ve all heard something along these lines. The truth is:

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22

I once read we have two bibles, the one we read and the one we see in nature. The Bible declares that, the heavens show His glory and the earth His handiwork. Today we’re in the midst of winter and it’s no surprise. Every January it’s going to get Cold in Arkansas. (Hopefully a little snow). Doesn’t this show the faithfulness of our Lord, as the seasons change, year after year. We can trust in God, to be with us thru all seasons, He is faithful. He is also full of beauty, activity and creativity, in every season. We may as well enjoy the different seasons and serve Him in them because, they are coming. Unless of course He comes for His church and then O My, what a season, we as His followers, will enjoy. An everlasting season of His presence in eternity.

Whatever the times hold for us, we can be assured, our God is with us, and He will help us.

I started looking to see if I could find a miracle associated with the Christmas story in the bible for every day in December. I quickly realized this wouldn't be hard to do. I don't know if you have
