Wait on God. March 30
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. Isaiah 64:4
All throughout scripture, men and women are encouraged to wait on God. Just look at Abraham and Sara, nearly 20 years waiting for that first son,Isaac. It seems God often has good things ahead for those who wait. Waiting for God means more than just sitting and hoping. It means praying, searching the scripture for direction and encouragement. It means continuing to serve God in whatever ways we can. And continuing to walk in obedience to God. Even tho things May not be just like we want or are hoping for. It’s just like God to make the end of a matter far greater than what we imagine. This is certainly going to be the case in our heavenly home. So if things are not working out the way you’ve hoped and prayed do not fret, wait on God for surely He is working on our behalf. Even better than we can imagine.
