The perfect moment??? July 14

Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. Hebrews 2:8

Though all things are put under the dominion and power of Jesus Christ and we through him partake of that power. At this present time, as we dwell upon this earth, as it was With Christ, we may go through difficulties. Christ did and so will we. As our verse says we do not yet see the complete fulfilling of this promise. For example, death will be the last enemy to be defeated before we enter into the promised land of heaven. Death has lost its sting until the day we see it totally defeated. We anxiously await the day of no problems or trials. Yet while we wait, do we just sit idly by waiting for things to be perfect before we praise God, serve God, or prayer. Of course not if we’re waiting on everything to be just right while we’re in this earth, we’ve got a long wait. If we have the attitude, I will do for God when all is just right, we will never do anything for God. If we’re waiting for the perfect moment here on earth to serve him it will never come. So we do it now, we pray now, we serve now, we offer praise and thanks now. Christ suffered much opposition when he was on earth, but that certainly didn’t keep him from loving God and fulfilling his will for his life. And neither should it prevent us. Sure it’s not always easy, not always convenient but it is always proper to honor him with faith. A faith that says I’m not waiting for the Perfect moment to serve God, I’m going to do it now, to the best of my ability. This is a faith that is pleasing to God. If things aren’t just perfect for you, then sure, pray for a change but also don’t wait until it is, to live for God. Love him today and leave the perfect day in his hands. For it is surely coming.
