The King Eternal. December 20

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:17

Sometimes it’s good just to simply praise God for who He is and what He has done. He is after all an Eternal King!!! The supreme ruler forever. I can’t wait to enter His eternal kingdom, it will be easy to praise Him then. There will be no hindrances or opposition. To praise Him now, we have to press through opposition. Our feelings and circumstances can try and get in the way. But He is worthy of all our effort to press in and praise him with not only our words but with our attention. It just simply honors Him. And that’s what we are to be about. Even tho God is invisible to us now, there are many pictures of His Glory in scripture, such as Ezekiel’s vision of the glory of God in Ezekiel chapter 1. Focus in on these glorious glimpses of our God and give Him thanks and praise, not only does it honor Him, you will also be lifted up in spirit, when we spend time in praise. Look what John says in Revelation 5:13

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Revelation 5:13

Lets willingly be in this vision John saw.
