Pointing home. February 8

For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Hebrews 11:10

In olden days a compass was often used to navigate with. It’s always been amazing to me , how no matter which way you turn it, it will always point to magnetic north. No doubt God had his hand in this matter. Isaac Newton the famous inventor was one day praised by another man for his wisdom. His response was, I am as a child on the seashore picking up a pebble here and a shell there. But the great ocean of truth still lies before me. Our God is a most wonderful God. As He has made all these things that man has simply discovered And I’m sure much we haven’t yet discovered. Even more amazing than an invention or a discovery such as the compass, is the inward drawing of God toward man. Just as Abraham looked for this celestial city of God, we know of as heaven, so are we still being pointed to this heavenly home. Take a true Christian, do what ever you may to him or her and when your thru, there is still one main goal in their heart, “ I must see my heavenly home, and dwell there with my Lord. Abraham had this goal and desire within him over 4000 years ago. Still today, praise God, there is an untold number of us believers with this same desire and goal. Brothers and sisters keep pressing toward the prize and we trust Gods Holy Spirit will be our internal compass guiding our way. To be continued...
