It is the Lord. June 27

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

John 21:7

Some of the disciples, including peter, were back to fishing because they were not sure what to do now. Jesus had risen and appeared to them a couple of times but things were still in limbo. They hadn’t seen or heard from the Lord in a while. Sometimes we can go a while without His strong presence in our lives. There are times we must walk by faith. But as sure as Jesus came to them, He will also reveal Himself to us too. As soon as John saw the net full of fish, he knew and said it is the Lord. Oh the scripture says His sheep know His voice and so we feel when He is near again. Listen for Him in quiet meditation, obey his voice, love Him and praise Him for being near to you.
