Gods house. May 12
We talked yesterday about God building our Lives. And if he’s not laboring with us then we’re wasting our time . We do however know by the promise of his word that he is with us.
David in Psalm 132 brings up something for us to think about, listen to verses 4-5 . “I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids, until I find out a place for the lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob”. While being concerned with God building our lives, let’s not forget to make sure God has a place to dwell. For David it was in his heart to build him a temple made of wood and stone etc.... but in our case it is to provide a place inside our lives, in our hearts for God to dwell. God is a spirit he doesn’t need a building to live in. He just went along with that in the Old Testament but all along his desire is to live in the hearts of men and women. So he comes into our lives when we accept Jesus as our savior. Then it is continued by daily giving the lord attention thru prayer and study of his word. Sometimes just simply thinking on him and all he does and will do. God desires fellowship with mankind. Make him a place, give him the time, honor his presence within you and you will surely have his company always present in you.
