Counting blessings or Bruises March 3

But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. Psalm 71:14-15

The writer of psalm 71 was writing during old age. He had experienced many things both good and bad. But he had decided I will think on the good, I will thank God for the good and I will have hope for the future good that you have prepared. We have all had blessings and bruises in life. Some of the bruises were others fault and some were our own. Most everyone by old age has experienced these. Some people dwell on the bruises, the what might have beens. Today let’s not be this way, let’s be like the psalmist and tell of the blessings that Almighty God has given us in life. And let’s have hope for what lies ahead as we trust in God. And we will find Gods blessings outweigh any bruises. Amen.
