I started looking to see if I could find a miracle associated with the Christmas story in the bible for every day in December. I quickly realized this wouldn't be hard to do. I don't know if you have ever realized all of the miraculous events surrounding the birth of Jesus, but they are numerous. Let's look at one each day of December.
Miracle 6: A virgin shall have a son.
You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. And He will reign over Israel forever, His kingdom will never end! Mary asked the angel, "but how can this happen? I am a virgin." The angel replied, " The Holy Spirit will come upon you , and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So, the baby to be born will be holy, and He will be called the son of God.
Now a miracle is a miracle, but this is a miracle of miracles. Such a very important part of our Christian faith. Jesus born of a woman, so he knows and feels like a man. but his Father is God., so he is able to do something about man's dilemma's. To sum this up, as the scriptures proclaim (and they will call him Immanuel, God with us.)
