I started looking to see if I could find a miracle associated with the Christmas story in the bible for every day in December. I quickly realized this wouldn't be hard to do. I don't know if you have ever realized all of the miraculous events surrounding the birth of Jesus, but they are numerous. Let's look at one each day of December.
Miracle 24: Such a long Wait
And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel. Genesis 3:15
God promised the devil that the woman's seed would crush his head. This was several thousand years before Christ actually came. There are other prophecies that predicted Jesus Christ's birth. Such as Micah 5:2 that he would be born in Bethlehem. How God watched over time to bring these promises to pass even over the span of thousands of years. Truly a miracle. But it was a long wait. And so must we wait patiently but expectantly for his next return. For He will surely come.
