I started looking to see if I could find a miracle associated with the Christmas story in the bible for every day in December. I quickly realized this wouldn't be hard to do. I don't know if you have ever realized all of the miraculous events surrounding the birth of Jesus, but they are numerous. Let's look at one each day of December.
Miracle 23: The baby in a Manger
And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger. Luke2:12
God wanted the shepherds to be sure that what the angels had said was true, so he said you're going to see a sight that you won't expect to see. The baby will be lying in a feed trough all wrapped up in cloth. Noone would expect to see God's son using a manger for a bed. But sure enough it was true. The shepherds hurried to the village and all things the angel had said were true, because God wants you and me to know I too can come to the Saviour for He is meek and lowly.
