I started looking to see if I could find a miracle associated with the Christmas story in the bible for every day in December. I quickly realized this wouldn't be hard to do. I don't know if you have ever realized all of the miraculous events surrounding the birth of Jesus, but they are numerous. Let's look at one each day of December.
Miracle 16: Zechariah's Prophecy
Then his father, Zechariah, was filled with the Holy Spirit and gave this prophecy.
The words of Zechariah were not his own, he hadn't written down what to say or even thought about what to say. He spoke by the Holy Spirit. Zechariahs prophecy can be read in Luke 1:67-79. Verse 74 kind of sums the meaning up. " We have been rescued from our enemies so we can serve God without fear". What a blessing to know Christ this Christmas season and not to have to worry about things so many worry about.
