I started looking to see if I could find a miracle associated with the Christmas story in the bible for every day in December. I quickly realized this wouldn't be hard to do. I don't know if you have ever realized all of the miraculous events surrounding the birth of Jesus, but they are numerous. Let's look at one each day of December.
Miracle 11: Mary's Magnificat
Mary Responded, " Oh how my soul praises the Lord"
Mary begins to praise God and in this string of praises is several miracles one of which is found in verse 48. He took notice of His lowly servant girl. Mary would have been on nobody's list to be the mother of the messiah. But isn't that what a miracle is (the unexpected and unexplained). Why did God choose an out of the way place like Nazareth and an unnoticed humble servant girl to accomplish His grand work. There's probably more than one reason but I like to think he says to you and me I can use you to, and you can do unexpected things when I am in your life. He truly does see the humble today.
