Be wise. - April 2
Be very careful, then, how you live not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:15-16 (NIV)

Our nation is certainly experiencing what we could call evil days. One thing this should develop in us is to be Very Careful In our walk with God. It is easy in our world with all its distractions to grow careless in our walk with God. It is easy to let our attention and devotions slide from the high place they once occupied in our lives. Today is a good day to begin again to be careful how we walk with God, devote that certain time to God in prayer, and scripture. Then making the most of every opportunity. Opportunity’s have certainly changed. We took a 20 lb. box of chicken to an elderly lady in our community who pretty much stays to herself. All of my previous visits have been me standing below and her door barely open to talk to me. To be honest I’ve never learned her name, she is very quiet. When I told her what we were doing and where we were from she said how much is the chicken. I said its free. In all the years I have visited her I’ve never seen even a hint of a smile . But then a large smile came on her face. Of course I felt like a million dollars. New opportunities. we gave her a card with the church website and went on our way. Thank you church for continuing to give in these times. So we can make a difference. God bless.
