A Strong Mind. December 8

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; Ephesians 4:23

In these days that we are living in it is a great asset to have a strong, clear mind. I believe the enemy of our souls is trying everything he Can to trouble people’s minds. Many in our world are angry in mind and heart. Many are fearful in mind. Some confused in mind by the circumstances around. Thank God Today as a believer in Christ we can have a strong mind. This is not to say we are never tempted and tested in mind and life. We read the same news as the rest of the world and face satans attacks as well. But the difference is we can be renewed in mind, after a difficult day or a stressful event. How can we do this? It may help to hide away somewhere for a time or have some sort of recreation. But the main way for us to have a strong mind is to spend QUALITY time with God. Getting alone somewhere and Praying is an excellent place to start. Don’t forget sometimes we just simply have to ask God for help in prayer then forget it and go about our day trusting and enjoying God. And of course have Gods word with you and by reading put it in you. As we do these things we will find our troubled minds becoming renewed in God. Then be busy doing something for God and others and before long, Gods joy and peace return upon us. In these days if we are continually focused on the things of this world we will surely grow troubled in mind this is why God wants us to be abiding in him. Where there is real, lasting peace.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2
